How you will spend your day as a Lumber Yard Associate :
Working in an outdoor environmentStocking materials received in the appropriate areasUnloading and loading material manually or using a forkliftPulling orders from the yard for customer pickupAssisting customers with loading of lumberMaintaining inventory by labeling and placing materials and supplies in stock.
Assisting with Inventory Control in counting and organizing materials.
Keep staging areas clean and organized.
Maintain a good working relationship with customers, fellow employees and managementWe want you to build your career with us! Can you check all of these boxes?Lumber Yard Associate Requirements:
Experience.
Previous experience in the building material industry a plus, but not required.
Physical.
Ability to stand for 8
hours per work shift.
Ability to bend, twist, squat and reach.
Heavy Lifting.
Ability to lift up to 50-75lbs throughout the work shift.
Teamwork.
Ability to work as a team and help motivate others.
Excellence.
Must have an excellent work ethic.
